I am running for the house. I want to continue my work in the house that I started in the Lincoln assembly!

Campaign Finance Reform - would be fine if Super PACs were a thing in Atlasia. It doesn't really exist in game currently

Health Care

We can not trust the insurance companies to have the field to themselves. We need a public option to increase competition, and therefore providing cheaper prices and better quality of care.

Abortion

I believe that abortion should be an option for teenagers, rape victims, in cases of incest, and in cases where the mother is in danger, but not in any other cases do I believe it should be an option. However, I still do believe PP should be funded.

LGBT Community

Easy. Same rights as anyone else in all cases.

Foreign Policy

Mild Interventionist-
I believe we need to focus on issues at home before we get swamped in debt by nation building and fighting other people’s wars. However, if there is a major problem that could potentially affect America, there is a chance I would send troops.

Taxes

We need to take the tax burden of hard-working Atlasians and put it on the top 1%. We need stronger regulations against offshore tax havens and make them pay for the government they abuse. I also support a corporate tax rate of 30%, and rewarding companies for keeping jobs in Atlasia.

Free Expression

All have the right to stand for what they believe in, but of course of threats of violence and similar exceptions aren’t the case.

Education

We want to be fiscally responsible in order to save up the money to fund free college. I support the current system generally, though

Housing
 
I support the actions made by Simossad and Pessimistic Antineutrino in the bill they proposed

Death Penalty

Oppose it overall, although I could support it for a few particularly heinous crimes

Gun Regulation

We need instant background checks to make sure none of the wrong people get their hands on a gun.

This is not only not a sentence, but also a strange position. What about the health of the mother? Or the health of the baby? Any random teenager who gets pregnant carelessly should have more of a right to an abortion than a mother whose life may be risked if a pregnancy is carried to term?

Word to the wise--revise your platform before submitting it. I appreciate your enthusiasm for the game, and I have been impressed with your passion, but you need to look over, think about, and articulate your positions better. Also, why are you running for House already? You've been so important with helping restart Lincoln in terms of activity, but now you're just jumping ship to run for a higher office? Seems to me that your most secure option is to remain in the region and keep doing what you're doing.

thank you GM, I did not intend to push the narrative that the life of the mother should be undervalued, and I will change this accordingly. I did check this over, but clearly, this just slipped out of my view.

I am running for the house because many other candidates have declared and I wanna give them a shot, which I am afraid I would hinder with.  If this bid doesn't turn out the way I hope it does, I will consider continuing this work have achieved in the assembly. Thank you for your thoughts!

I have decided to plan to propose a couple edits to our current health care law, as I have read it, to make it more efficient. I am specifically referring to the fact that Scott neglected to add data privacy protections to Atlascare. I saw you were proposing changes. We should prohibit the government or participating insurers from mining/selling/sharing customer data.
