I think if Tim votes for himself now he's definitely in.

Peak irony would be the left losing a majority because Tim didn't vote for himself.

Anyone want to PM him?

I'll wait to call control until Peebs issues an official report. Otherwise, congratulations to the next Governor of the South, diptheriadan, and the next Senator from Lincoln, LouisvilleThunder.

@Peebs:

Does Tim's vote count?

Technically, he was filling out his ballot when polls close, and "When you're in line (or in the process of voting) when polls close, your vote counts".

I'll also wait for Peebs to decide whether or not Tim's vote will be counted, as it was before the end of the 12:00 minute, at 12:00:33.

It may be counted, as it was at 12:00:33. Another layer to the drama of this already dramatic election.

If my vote doesn't count? What does the result look like?

If your vote counts you're almost certainly in the Chamber, I'd think.

That much is clear.
If it's ommitted though?

You'd be at three votes. With all your 2nd and 3rd preferences, though, I think you'd still get in.

It doesn’t really matter when you started your vote but what time you post your vote.

Perhaps Tim's internet was slow and it took 34 seconds to register after he submitted it.

I thought I remember hearing somewhere that polls closed at the end of the 12:00 minute.

Bye Labor, you did nothing for us down here. The leadership is falling apart, etc. I always considered myself a progressive, which is why I'm joaiming the progressives union party.

Ok, I lied, I'm not fully calculating it. HOWEVER:

At start, no one has surpassed the threshold, so we go to elimination.

Chardee has no votes.

Then:

DTC has 4

Bagel has 4

Fairbol has 4

TimTurner has 3 or 4

Million dollar question: If Tim's vote counts, who is eliminated?

Fairbol has 5: Sanchez, Santander, Potus, PiT, and HillGoose

Also worth noting: If Tim's vote DOESN'T count, he's eliminated because none of those second-choice votes got a chance to redistribute to him.

Assuming it doesn't count, I think fairbol is 6th member and DTC is 7th. Could be wrong though. This gives a 4-3 Federalist majority (with 0!!!! Labor members).
