Congratulations to Mr. Reactionary on (probably) his re-election as Chamber of Delegates Speaker.

Just btw for all of you publishing counts, I'm 98% sure Jake can't vote in the South.
Way ahead of you.

One spot left - right now, does it look like it's going to Bagel, DTC, or TimTurner?

My bets are on Tim, but it's very close.

This is factoring in that he's probably going to vote for himself?

He's only got an hour and a half left to do so.

Yeah, but a lot of people's thing is voting at the last minute, and Tim is no exception to the rule.

If Tim fails to do so, is this going to DTC?

By the way, it's looking pretty likely that Dan will be elected governor. The right can breathe a sigh of relief.

Based on all the Second Preferences for DTC, yes.
Get another first Preference man, make it 5-2 Feds.

The funny thing is that the election threshold is now greater than 5.

So late-preference votes are going to make a major difference.

There are at least a few voters who prioritized one of Reactionary, Saint, and Lechasseur first, but then prioritized at least one left-winger after those three. I think 5-2 will need several more Fed votes to come in at the end.

Any reason the governors race hasn't been called yet? So much for a good night for the left (although South from my short time in here seems like a deep [whatever color Federalists are] region).

1 hour left before we see if the South elects an open transphobe to the Chamber.

Also, I think we're on the verge of calling the governor's race.

With the latest votes counted, we are retracting our earlier call for the House of Delegates and moving control back into the Tossup column.

You can...probably...bring back your call of Mr. Reactionary being reelected Speaker now.

I never called, nor retracted a call about Mr. Reactionary and the Speakership. I don't issue calls on the election for speakership; the House votes on that in a few weeks.

I meant your Federalist majority call.

Oh lol. I'm not bringing that back yet. I don't feel confident yet one way or the other, 2nd/3rd/4th prefs and votes that are still out in consideration.

Also, Mr. Reactionary can still be elected Speaker under a Federalist minority, that's happened on the  federal level before.
