GOP wins WV, TN, AL, OK, KS, SD, ID, and (narrowly) WY. Rest is DEM. Could be wrong about MS though - it's the hardest one.

MS is Republican. I'm not sure how you arrived at that conclusion (that the Democrats won it). And do you mean that IA is narrowly Republican? In WY, the Republican runs unopposed.

Did you make a mistake with Pulaski County, Arkansas? How are Democrats winning so many Counties in the state and losing Pulaski County at the same time.

That is not a mistake. Arkansas's political geography is somewhat different in this timeline.

I'm guessing that Democrats somehow won WY in 2018, and decided not to try their luck there again in 2020?

No. In this scenario, Enzi runs unopposed, and earns virtually 100% of the vote. The Democrats realize that its hopeless to keep on running against someone who always gets 70% or more of the vote every time.

I don't know MS inside out as much as other states. As for WY, the Republican almost managed to lose a vote. He probably had a margin of victory of less than 400k as well.

Well, as far as I know, the Republicans, when they win in MS, generally carry the populous Gulf counties, Rankin County, DeSoto County, Lamar County, Lauderdale County, and Forrest County. All of these go Republican here. And you do recognize that WY is 100% Republican.

Amazing how few counties Democrats would need to tie in some of these states.

I think Utah is especially interesting, because due to McMullin, Clinton would have only needed to win 4 counties to win the state, and she wouldn't have even cracked 60% in any of them.

This also speaks to how the Democrats' geographical concentration can actually help them under the right circumstances, because as long as they win the major urban and suburban counties, and get the margins necessary out of those counties, they can win all. Republicans, on the other hand, have to run up the score in hundreds of rural and exurban counties just to come to a narrow victory. This is what we saw in the Midwestern states with President Trump in the last election.

Hence the "roughly" part. when you have to individually color thousands of counties it's impossible not to make at least one mistake.

Doug Ducey (Republican-Arizona) / Rob Portman (Republican-Ohio) ~356 EV

Joe Kennedy III (American Monarchist-Massachusetts) / Michelle Obama (American Monarchist-Illinois) ~182 EV

Of course, the runner up ticket styled itself as the Democratic party, not as the American Monarchist party. But a thorn by any other name would be just as sharp.
