General Eisenhower campaigned in in New York, New Hampshire, and Wisconsin, but spent most of his week gathering campaign consultants and hiring. He had one major rally in New York to attract the megamedia.

While in Wisconsin, he notably announced that he would veto any attempt to restrict the rights of labor with regards to collective bargaining, as well as try his best to not intervene in negotiations between unions and company except when it causes civil unrest for others

In the first week of his announcement, Henry Wallace traveled to Minnesota and North Dakota and campaigned hard there, with a few thousand members of a whole farming community turning out to listen to him speak about agriculture subsidies. George Wallace finished up by going to Washington to campaign.
