At 32% reporting:
PA State Supreme Court

Dwayne D. Woodruff (R): 49.1%
Sallie Mundy (D) i: 45.8%

Crossing my fingers here. Woodruff is racking up a massive margin in Allegheny.

at 26% they were virtually tied so Woodruff regained his lead.

Did you flip the parties?

Yes it was an accident. Woodruff is the Democrat and Mundy is the Republican. I accidentally did vice versa.

Democrats also lead for all four open spots on the superior court so we are looking at a bad night for PA democrats too.

3rd big mayoral win for Dems tonight in Dem-vs-GOP races: Vi Lyles wins in Charlotte, NC.

Democrats are winning EVERYWHERE. Dems picks up St Petersburg, Charlotte and Manchester.

Muindy is also on track to win Lackawanna county and that makes me very nervous for the future. In reply to MT, I'm getting it from here

The Supreme Court seat may have to rely on Chester county. Philly suburbs that voted for Clinton but also went for Toomey so I'm unsure here.

Question two now up 59-41 with a 30,000 vote lead still without most of Portland. Suck on that, LePage.

Yeah Mundy is going to win Sad

She's closing in and Woodruff is running out of votes in Allegheney and Philadelphia county. Mundy is also winning Eerie, Centre, Lackawana, and Luzerne.

I'm not exaggerating when I say PA has some of the worst voters in the country.

LMFAO.

I'm actually quite surprised. I thought he would garner at least 5%. He even participated in the three-way debate with de Blasio and Maliotakis.

PA Supreme Court
55% in

Dwayne D. Woodruff (D): 50.34%
Sallie Mundy (R): 49.66%

Too close and with too many votes left to count for my comfort...
The only thing keeping me optimistic here is the fact that the Democrats are surely going to take 3/4 of the Superior Court seats so maybe Woodruff will pull off a very narrow victory.

And his performance there probably scared away voters.

It would be a laugh-out-loud riot if the Medicaid thing in Maine won with at least 60%.

Too bad it doesn't work for me for some reason. Numbers according to the AP, with 47% reporting:

   Woodruff, Dwayne   Dem   402,588   56%
   Mundy, Sallie (i)   GOP   313,833   44%

I would much rather believe yours lol.

This so far looks like a standard narrow Republican victory. The voters after 60% lean heavily Republican typically. Lancaster and York are still completely out as well.

Not a bad result for Dems in PA at all - would have been nice to see Woodruff win, but it doesn't affect the balance of the court, and is still a strong showing all things being equal.

Ditto for Issue 2 in Ohio, it's hard to promote an issue like that in an off-year election, it's very complex, etc. Nice to see they tried, but it wouldn't have mattered much anyway on that level.

Ugh. Atleast it looks like we will sweep the Superior court. We will then have a major advantage in both that and the Supreme court.

It would be nice if PA was more democratic and less tossup.
