Ah tax fraud by virtue of failing to report millions of dollars in income. If true, Manafort is going to jail for a long time. It does not seem to enmesh Trump in much, and this is not the kind of offense that is going to be subject to much plea bargaining I suspect.

This links back to Trump and top aides (esp Gates since he stayed on after Manafort left). Obstruction, failure to report criminal activities, potentially aiding and abetting, and this doesn't even touch Page, DT Jr., and the other associates yet.

The trumpeting from the Trumpanzees seems to be that this has nothing to do with Trump campaign/Russia and it's fake evidence manufactured and that Clinton will be arrested soon.

Yes. On page 23 of the indictment, the conspiracy against the US charge is based off of defrauding the govt including DoJ and DoT.
