Yes, I think his presidency would have been very successful, and we would have gotten America back on the right track four years earlier.

With Romney as President, Trump either doesn't run or runs on a more liberal platform for the Democratic nomination. so, yeah.

Nope. A Romney win most likely means the Senate goes Republican that year to. So Obamacare is repealed with relative ease (yes, Romney had Romneycare, but he'd still gut it to score points with the right), a tax "reform" plan as bad or worse than Trump's gets through, would be Vice President Paul Ryan's plan to turn Medicare into a voucher program goes through,  a war in Syria would've started in 2013 and would still be raging on today, Iran is a bigger problem without the Iran deal, and on top of that  North Korea would still be an issue. Romney's only bright spot is that he might've handled Russia better than Obama did, although how much better is debatable. As for 2014 under Romney, thanks to an unfavorable Senate Map, the Senate stays Republican and might get even more Republican, and thanks to Gerrymandering, if the house flips to the Democrats at all, it does narrowly, so there isn't much bargaining power there. Romney most likely beats Clinton in 2016 as well. On top of all this, Trump is still a headache for us all, he's just not near the nuclear codes.

Healthcare/Medicare reform:
https://thinkprogress.org/romney-praises-national-health-care-mandate-as-a-bipartisan-proposal-98381b10fea7/

https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/right-turn/post/paul-ryan-ron-wyden-bipartisan-medicare-reform/2011/12/15/gIQAx7xyvO_blog.html?utm_term=.23d770ea6db0

With that and a federal sales tax, I think Romney would have implemented at least three major economic issues I agree with. If Kennedy had retired, I think Romney would have replaced him with Roslyn Mauskopf or Timothy Mark Burgess - both of whom would have done a very good job.

No, Obama needed to be two-term president. I also like the fact that he's the first Dem since FDR to win over 50% twice.

Yes. Giving up a 2nd term of Obama is tough, but it avoids a Trump Presidency.
