Best: Toomey, easily.
Worst: Casey (fake pro-lifer), followed very closely by Specter.

Other way around, followed closely by Specter.

So you're not pro-life? Also, FWIW, I get the impression that Toomey isn't really a "fake moderate" like so many other Senators. Sure, he's a conservative Republican, but I believe he's more pragmatic and willing to work actoss the aisle than you think. He's much better than Portman, for example.

Abortion just isn't a big thing for me compared to other issues, and since there are few pro-life Keynesians anymore, lip service is kinda what has to be settled for and he seems reasonable everywhere else. Not the biggest fan of Wofford either and Santorum went off the deep end in Term 2. That leaves Casey by default.

Even if Toomey were what you say, he appears to be more of the "fiscal conservative, social x" kind as opposed to the Santorum type.

Specter/Santorum. Feel very strongly about the latter being the worst.

Wofford/Santorum.

Specter was quite a character - possibly the most obvious politician ever and yet, in a Nixonian way, imminently watchable. Casey is a dull guy but he's been getting better. Wofford is probably my favorite of this group, even with some creepy things in his non-political life.

Santorum is Santorum (lol), and Toomey isn't much better.

It's amazing how few people appear to like Santorum here.
