I want to see Nixon and Kennedy interviewing each other in the afterlife.

My heart says Nixon to ask about his worldview, how he thinks of us in 2017, what he thinks our great challenges are, and what happens. Nixon is the best political analyst in the past 50 years.

My brain says FDR and Reagan to talk about realignments and how they did it, how they expected the outcome, and what they hoped to achieve versus what they did.

Nixon and LBJ interviewing each other would be fantastic.

Not if the one listening dislikes corruption, cussing, and/or cruel, cruel competence.

Cruel competence in the service of a good cause vs. cruel competence in the service of an evil cause (people can decide which is which based on their political leanings) usually makes for good drama.

Good drama, sure, but this post of yours indicates an unfortunately clear cut, black and white worldview which you have long showed signs of having.

JFK: "Nixon, are you just trolling me here?"

I guess liking civil rights and not wanting poor people to starve to death makes me a far-left hack under the current terms of US politics, yeah.

Probably JFK and Reagan. Both are interesting people, with the former being quite articulate and the latter being a fun guy to talk to.

Unsurprisingly, I fall into the Nixon camp. His thoughts on his own presidency, the modern right, the fall of the Soviet Union and everything after it, would all be fantastic.

Nixon's record on civil rights was far less mixed than Lyndon Johnson, and he only attempted to expand the Great Society.

Irregardless, that's not what I said. I said you appear to have a clear cut and black white worldview. That post further reinforces those appearances.

Lincoln; among other things I'd be interested in what his actual racial views were (and how he'd react to events after his death, although I'm not sure if that's allowed in this hypothetical).
