Honestly, based on the past year of elections, I think betting actual money on results that are anything less than completely certain is a bad idea.

So, I guess it's another round of globalism vs. nativism, then?

Wow, what a pleasant thread filled with such rational dialogue in which opposing points of view are respected through means of diplomacy Smiley. Anyway, Macron will most likely win this, but I wouldn't count Le Pen out entirely (though maybe that's just the PTSD from last year talking.)

Le Pen is running in 5th in Paris, lol

Are there any French people still living?

No, it's 78% morrocan, 28% Turks and 16% chinese

The sad truth is, that you're not far away from reality...

Wikipedia is your friend; the area is overwhelmingly "born in Metropolitan France": https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/5th_arrondissement_of_Paris#Immigration

Very little research needs to be done to discover that the area is very wealthy and overwhelmingly white.

Born in France does not mean that they are French ;-) But ok, I know that for you guys a sheep born in a chicken coop is a chicken, not a sheep...
Your racism is showing.
Shouting racism doesn't make you win the argument, sweetie.

Maybe, but it doesn't mean he isn't right.

Interesting. That would suggest Le Pen isn't so much extremely popular with young voters as she is very unpopular with older voters.

I wouldn't be surprised if LePen beats the polls by a bit, but I won't buy a 20% polling error until I see it. France will be Flawless and Beautiful Purple heart tomorrow.

But how's Macron doing in the crucial Waukesha County?

dave weigel is strong in ya.

btw....this sentiment drives me crazy:

This is what the world has become. There are swaths of people who would happily see the world fall to ruin if they got to piss other people off in return and drink their "salty tears."

Yes, Flawless, Beautiful, MACRON Purple heart Purple heart Purple heart kicks Far Right Nationalism to the curb!

Okay, he's not great by any means, but it's good to see Le Pen lose badly. Sorry, Krazen, looks like Trump lost this one!
