DGA on the air for Mills:

I've seen ads for Caron, Hayes and Mills now, in addition to ads for Golden and Poliquin and ads for Cote, Sweet, Fredette and Mason in the primary.

Not a single ad for Moody yet in either the primary or general.

They should of been on the air for Mills, she has lukewarm support.

To be honest, that's actually kind of worrying.

Another worrying thing for the GOP: Mills is raising more money than him, and the majority of his fundraising comes from loans he himself made to his campaign.

Yet, the last poll showed a tied race, this race along with OR,CT&RI are tossups. LePage wasn't that popular, but by all means, don't underestimate Moody.

Planned Parenthood has a very organized Maine chapter. Their GOTV efforts will be a boon to Mills's campaign.

Mills is threatening to sue LePage as LePage withholds funds to AG's office.

We could have a poll incoming. Evidently it’s a Hayes internal. And it’s not grea for her.

Maine hasn't elected a Democrat for Gov, since Baldacci and Mills is not Baldacci.

You're telling me.

Of course, the Dems could've nominated any of the other serious candidates who finished behind Mills and not have to worry about this, but it was Janet's turn so

You're a pretty weak candidate if you get "spoiled" in an IRV election.

Only federal races in ME are IRV.

IRV is not being used for state races this cycle.

Great ad running in support of Janet! (There's another one I've seen as well, though I couldn't find it on Youtube). Both are highlighting Janet using settlement money from fraud cases to expand skills/technical school programs.

I haven’t seen that one; that’s actually a really good ad.

I am still shocked that the only evidence of a campaign Moody is running is a NASCAR and bumper stickers.

Moody needs only a plurality of the vote and since Hayes is doing this, I can see an upset 40 Hayes-19 Moody and Mills

Won't happen, no name recognition and no natural base (she's not running to the left of Mills on social issues like Cutler did to Michaud and Mitchell on gun control and same-sex marriage, for example).

Don't be too sure, ME, RI, OR, MD and Iowa can vote for GOP focus and ME can have an indie Gov.

Just curious, which way did Cutler tack on economics, and which way is Hayes tacking now?

They both ran as centrists, though I think Hayes is more anti-union.

In a wave election, Terry Hayes, not Mills can win, but in a neutral year Moody or Mills would win

www.pressherald.com/2018/09/05/survey-older-maine-voters-split-support-between-mills-moody-for-governor/

A new poll by AARP(?!?!) shows Mills slightly in the lead with voters over the age of 50, 39-38.

Poliquin leads 40-37 on first ballot in second district, 16% undecided and 6% going to the independents.

Also, independent moderate hero Marty Grohman's ill-advised challenge to Chellie Pingree is going swimmingly: 6% of the vote. What a loser lmao
