It's an important step forward for McConnell if this MTP passes, which is appearing more likely now, but everyone should keep in context what that means. There are still several very difficult obstacles ahead, and a successful MTP vote just means one fewer obstacle.

The way the vote works is that the clerk reads off the entire roll first, then announces how each senator voted. Then there is time for those who did not vote immediately to cast their vote. The vote ends at the discretion of the Acting President Pro Tempore (currently Lankford).

Ah, thanks. I must just be too used to everything important happening in the House and getting the little projector-style vote counts over the live feed.
