Oh it will take some time. But if the hearings are low key and everyone is civil, it won't dominate the news. That's nicks point I imagine.

I sent the Casey campaign an e-mail.  Let's see if I receive a response.

Casey would do well not to get involved in this unless something happens that destroys Roberts and hurts Santorum. Casey can either oppose a pro-life nominee and have his anti-abortion credentials tarnished or he can oppose his party's leadership and major fundraisers. I'd stay quiet for the next two months.

I agree, though it would be nice if Casey's staff would send a response just saying "Thank you for your question at this point in time Bob is examining Mr. Roberts' record and when he finishes his examination will release a statement on his confirmation"
