The media is doing a disservice here by acting like all Trump did was offer her money when that is not the truth. the deplorable part is that Trump assumed because of her job as a porn actress, he could shove his tongue down her throat without consent. That is clearly assault. Now, we don't totally know if each of these stories are true, but, we do have Trump's admission that this is his MO, plus all of the allegations do seem credible. And I'm sure there are some who might be put off by a relatively newly married Trump offering money to have sex with a stranger (probably because Melania hadn't shed her Baron weight yet so she was a pig, to Donald)

A writer from TDB teased that a story they were releasing was pretty bad and implied it would make waves, but it turned out to be a dud. It was that one with Trump approving of / laughing at Busey groping a woman from The Apprentice. I mean from my POV if that really did happen, it's disgusting and annoying to me that it didn't get more play, but that's not what happened. I don't think cable news even reported on it, or if they did it was very brief.

I think if someone says TheDailyBeast is releasing something bad/damaging, it should be taken with a grain of salt.

Pretty much. It shouldn't take this, but it is what it is. The 2005 tape was devastating because it was audio/video of lewd comments by Trump. If it was just a transcript, it probably would have only had a fraction of the impact it did.
