Love all the Trump supporters who said Trump won the first debate now saying that Hillary won the first debate so that they can appear "balanced" when they say that Trump won the second debate because reasons

Good point.  These people can be as dishonest as Donald Trump.

I made a similar post in the debate thread, but I guess it is more relevant here.

Trump lost. Here is why:

He committed the following MAJOR no-nos.

1.) He has poor blocking.

2.) He has made false statements multiple times.

3.) He has argued with the moderators.

4.) He has used the Tu Quequo argumentative fallacy.

5.) He has interrupted Clinton far more than she has him (Tim Kaine's biggest downfall)

6.) He admitted to not paying any federal income taxes.

7.) He has said he disagrees with his own running mate.

8.) He brought this into the gutter with the Bill Clinton claims. He was warned not to, but did .

9.) He has brought up LITERAL conspiracy theories.

10.) He called his candidate THE DEVIL. WTF?

11.) He just interrupted the moderators, AGAIN.

12.) He has used several moral equivalence fallacies. They teach you this in competitive debating.

13.) He sighed out loud multiple times.

14.) He used emotive language to deflect questions.

15.) He used the debate error called: Praeteritio

14.) He threatened to JAIL his political opponent.

All of the above are FACTS. How can anyone on here pretend that he is winning the debate?

You have some very good points there.

If I had to say the splits on these debates:

First debate: 90% Clinton/10% Trump

Second debate: 60% Trump/40% Clinton

I agree but only if you weigh them with expectations.

Are there any Johnson voters or undecided-leaners here?

Who did you think won tonight? I would appreciate your input.

Clinton used an important advantage in this debate--Trump's lack of credibility, resulting from the numerous scandals that have plagued him since the first debate.

She used this advantage very effectively by dismissing many of Trump's attacks as completely false. While doing this, she also mounted her own attacks on Trump to make sure that she won this debate.

It wasn't a spectacular victory like the first debate, but this time she was only trying to preserve the great advantage in support she already had before the second debate.

CNN Poll:
Clinton: 57%
Trump: 34%

But hey, when you have the expectations of a retarded baby learning how to drool, everybody's a winner.

Congratulations.

Peace out. 👌

Out of CNN's focus group, only ONE undecided voter thought that Trump won.

That's worse than the last one!

Clinton won on substance, something Trump lacks entirely. On delivery... Eh, Clinton wasn't as good as she was in the first debate, but Trump definitely came across as angry and easily rattled. Also, more evidence this election is between and president and a xenophobic dictator.

Trump did better than in the first debate, and this is his great achievement. But I prefer Clinton, she was more specific on problems solutions and generally  more convincing. As someone noticed here "she won on substance". Trump's threat to jail her is unprecedented and outrageous.

So Trump is Harambe and Clinton is the shooter? Works for me, he can be idolized by a bunch of idiots that nothing will come of it.

It's a poll of random landline and cell phone users.

I think many people overestimated the expectations game. As most of Atlas and the pundits said, the poll does confirm people think Trump vastly outperformed expectations. But they still give Hillary a crushing win regardless.

I am a bit surprised (pleasantly) that the average American was able to acknowledge that someone can outperform expectations but still lose decisively.
