I guess that basket is going to get a little bit bigger.

Welcome to the basket #BasementDwellers... Now the No. 1 trending hastag on Twitter.

No its not. Its not even a top 10 hashtag.
You must have the local hastags turned on, it's No. 1 in the US. (until college football starts).

The arrogance of this woman knows no bounds. Does she not understand that this condescending rhetoric is the reason that Bernie voters and young voters are not excited about her candidacy or not even voting at all. And for all those out there that say Bernie's criticism's of Hillary are the reason she is tied with Trump, this is the reason, not Bernie.

Oh please.

If Bernie had said the same thing she just said, you clowns would not say a word.

I read the OP and it's exactly the sort of crap she doesn't need to say if she wants to win this.

Well, sure, that's not as bad as if she said it right now, but even back in February she knew she was going to need these voters.

It's the truth. Am I supposed to feel insulted? I don't. She's acknowledging that young people are getting fed up with how things are and that they're looking for someone who agrees and will push an agenda that is favorable for them. That's politics.

In a way, she isn't wrong. Millennials are far more likely to still be living at home than other generations. However, I also think she was making this point in a rude way. This isn't a new thing for her Sad

At any rate, I like how this was released now. They were probably hoarding it for later, but must have thought it was urgently needed given Trump's current circumstances.

She seems totally tone deaf at moments. At the same she's lucky (hell, we're lucky) she got Trump as her opponent.

Trump's week was horrible, so you people need some stupid reason to lash out at Hillary. If you think what she said is not true, you need to get real.

This reminds me of people (Hillary included) who tried to sound offended after Obama's bitter/cling.

this is no insult, this is a statistical fact, which is usually reported in all major newspaper articles about frustration of...usually even well-ducated....young people, who are not able to find "fitting" jobs anymore and live with their parents till their late twenties or so.

if this is seem as a gaffe, i would advise candidates to never ever say the truth about anything anymore.

It's like many others said before, things like this are controversial only among people who would literally have never supported Clinton to start with.

Bernie himself has already debunked this by saying she was correct.

Anyway, this is nothing compared to not paying your taxes.

Or calling Mexicans rapists.

Or being accused of rape yourself.

Or even being open to the suggestion of registering all Muslims into a government database.

Or saying women who get abortions ought to be arrested.

Or appearing in a porno.

Or urging supporters on twitter to watch a sex tape.

Or pledging to force another country to fund a massive border wall.

Or giving high praise to Putin.

Or to Kim Jong-un.

Or Saddam Hussein.

Or retweeting quotes from Mussolini.

Or keeping a book of Hitler speeches by your bedside.

Or being endorsed by the North Korean dictator himself.

Or saying that the US will not intervene to protect NATO allies (giving Russia a free hand).

Or asking Russia to hack the opposing candidate.

Or suggesting his supporters assassinate her.

Or encouraging physical violence at rallies.

But 'Murica!

The actual interview.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2016/10/02/sanders_clinton_absolutely_correct_when_she_said_my_supporters_are_living_in_their_parents_basement.html

Meanwhile Fox decided to take two partial quotes out of context and write this insult to journalism. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/10/02/sanders-admits-being-bothered-by-clintons-depiction-young-voters-who-backed-him.html
