A Santender vs. Southern Gothic race will likely produce a lot of 1960-esque echo chamber calls.
That's why you should drop out and endorse me. Tongue
At this point, the votes look like that should go the other way around. Tongue

Now, yes, but when I said that, it was pretty close to being tied. I swear I lost votes somehow.

I am pretty interventionist, mostly from a corny "world police," shining city on a hill perspective.  I recognize there are mistakes (Vietnam, ARGUABLY Iraq), but I think it is our responsibility and privilege to be the leader of the free world, and that includes protecting human rights abroad.  We obviously can't help everyone, so as bad as it sounds at first, we must prioritize situations that involve our national security interests first in that pursuit.  Probably to your dismay, I don't get to worked up about Israel.  However, I am flabbergasted by people who can't at least acknowledge the importance of them being the only democratic state in the region and how important it is that the US and Israel remain close allies.  Iran?  I support sanctions, probably stronger than Obama's deal for sure.

I don't really want to say too much here, but I'll make an exception for this. This country was founded upon spiritual principles, not political ones. The Constitution was written by Christians seeking divine revelation from God. America enjoys God's providential blessings because we seek righteousness. We have a biblical duty to defend Israel, regardless of their political institutions.

There's only one choice in this race if you believe in life, religious liberty and Israel. Wink

Businessman RINO Tom(R-IL) - 47.7%
Defense Secretary Santander(R-KY) - 36.8%
Governor Clark Kent(R-CT) - 7.9%
Former State Secretary SunriseAroundTheWorld(R-VA) - 5.3%
Lieutenant Governor Classic Conservative(R-MA) - 5.3%

While most candidates had a regional base, SunriseAroundTheWorld placed second or third in the Upper South, the Midwest, the Mideast, and the Northeast and the Southeast, along with winning all of the Mid-Atlantic. RINO Tom pulled out a victory at the end with his major wins of Arizona, California, Oregon, and Washington. Santander's strong showing may mean a third party run if he so chooses.

RINO Tom, President Gothic, choose your running mates! Santander, feel free to choose yours if you are running third party.

President Southern Gothic address the results of the Republican Primary!

Ladies and gentlemen of our beautiful nation, it is readily apparent to all of us that we as a nation are at a moral crossroads, the likes of which we have never seen in our history before. A crossroads, that will try the minds and hearts of each and every citizen. The hands of destiny have laid at our feet two choices. Two roads that will set the course of America's future for generations to come.

On the one hand, we have the world that the Republican Party has concocted in a smoky back room while their pockets were being lined by foreign powers. They put forth a paradigm of America that is plagued by insidious selfishness and dominated by corporate greed. Mr. Tom of Illinois is the post child of the global elite. He, and others like him who pound the drum of "business" are routinely selling the soul of this nation to the highest bidder overseas.

I do not believe that Mr. Tom has evil in his heart. I am inclined to see the goodness of everyone. But the sheer and blatant nihilism that is present in his platform is a disgusting injustice and a perversion of what it means to be American. The Republican Party does not represent America, nor does the Republican Party represent the working man. We must stay the course that we have been on these last four years. The course that has brought prosperity and security to our must destitute and vulnerable citizens. We have made great strides for economic justice in these last four years, and we cannot allow for the crony capitalists to reverse those trends.

The other hand, the other road we can take, is the road of community interests, of sound morality and economic justice. An America in which the rights and needs of every citizens are respected and satisfied. We envision an all inclusive, traditional America. A land of comfort, prosperity and equality. In which we can all love and respect our neighbors and feel safe in our beds.

I am proud to be leading our nation into the next step of our great Democratic experiment, but I am even prouder of the average American's leadership in making this nation as best as it can possibly be. Together, and only together, will we continue to strive for excellence and make the impossible, possible. In this election, I am confident that we, the American people, will continue to reject the evils of selfishness, nihilism and tyranny. And continue on the road to great prosperity for this generation, and every generation hereafter.

Thank you, and good night.

Re-elect Southern Gothic and IceSpear this November!

As a Republican, I will get in line behind the nominee just as Pat Buchanan did in 1996 as long as he picks a true conservative, pro-life running mate.

So, as president of the United States and leader of the free world you will do everything in your power to ensure Western Sahara gets independence from Morocco? And upon winning you will appoint me Secretary of State or at the very least let me chair a committee to make Western Sahara independent?

Deal! Endorsed!
