TV-Ad "American Values"

I am very concerned about the state of this country. Conservatives and nationalists are talking about American values without making it clear what those values are. I will do so.

Freedom. That all men and women are able to work hard to follow their dreams and that no one can tell them what they should do, or what they shouldn't.

Equality. The fact that the American ground promises everyone the same rights – but also the same duties. No matter which gender, no matter which race, no matter which age, no matter which income. Everyone shall be equal.

Democracy. The fact that America has a parliament and a government of the people, by the people and for the people. The fact that no one can tell the American people who their leader shall be.

Conservatives and nationalists had a good reason not to tell you what our values exactly are.

Families in this country are struggling against the huge financial burden and against the daily challenges of life. Children who grow up in lower-class families often have no perspectives for the future, no matter which dreams and abilities they have. While 60 percent of the new income goes directly to the top one percent, one third of all children in the United States live in poverty. The American dream, which made the United States strong, is dead. This is where fiscal conservatism leads to.

Women and minorities are still structural disadvantaged. Hispanic, black or female workers are still not paid equally, no matter how hard they work and no matter how much effort they put into their job. White males make up a significant larger share of the House of Commons than they do in the population. Young girls and minority children get discouraged and underestimated. This is a result of conservative policies.

The influence of lobbyists and big companies on our political system has never been bigger than it is today. They spend millions and billions of dollars into campaigns of candidates they want to lead the country. Motivated young candidates with fresh ideas have no chances. The will of the people doesn't matter anymore. This is not how a democracy should look like. This is a system which prefers conservatives, nationalists and liberals. That parties the big bosses like the most.

We need a change. Vote for American values. Vote for Warren. Vote progressive.

I'm Elizabeth Warren, and I approve this message.

Todd Young (4.1) - Iowa Victory Speech

Thank you Iowa!

First of all, I want express my closeness to Bernie Sanders and his family for the loss of Larry Sanders. My toughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Larry.

I'd also like to congratulate with the winners of the Iowa caucuses of all parties and with my fellow Conservative candidates, Cathy McMorris Rodgers and John Kasich, for their great showing and for their contribution of ideas in our primary.

Tonight, the people of Iowa sent a message. The people of Iowa sent a clear message. Iowa Conservatives want to change things now and I can assure to you that this sentiment is not shared just by Iowa Conservatives, but it's shared by Conservatives all across this nation.

Our participation in a government with Liberals turned our base off. And I can't blame my fellow Conservatives. We are at the opposition of Liberals on almost all issues that most matters to Americans, how can we govern togheter again?
My fellow Conservatives, read my lips. That will not happen again. If we not get a majority, we are going to start good conversations with parties that are most close to us on the issues. This means that Liberals and Progressives are immediately out of conversation. We'll form a government that finally again works for our citizens.

We'll form a government that'll work to make our country safe. As a former Marine officer, I know how defense work. We have to form an international coalition in order to defeat the terror enemies that are threatening us and our allies. We have to stop the recruiting process that terrorists are putting up. We have to increase our national security, expand our defense.

We want a government that not run the life of Americans, but a government that helps Americans to be succesfull in life. This means we'll cut taxes for our hardworking families. This means we'll reduce useless government spending. This means we'll help our medium and small businesses, in order to let them to hire more Americans at work.

We'll stand with the right to life. We'll work to improve our education sytem. Education is fundamental for the life of our children and of all the generations to come. In the House, I have introduced the Investing in Student Success Act which will implement market principles and create an alternative, debt-free student financing option for higher education. I'm proud of that and we'll stood that way.

This race will be a long race. There are still 49 states plus DC to go. This is a great start, but we have to keep this going till the Convention and the general election! We are going to spread our message in New Hampshire, South Carolina, Nevada and in all the United States of America.

Thank you so much!
God bless you, Gob bless Iowa and God bless the United States of America!

Press statement February 7th, 2016

The North Korean government has proven once again that it is obviously not interested in international agreements and contracts. The recent missile testing is a breach of international law and not compatible with a membership in an international confederation whose goals are world peace and dignity for everyone on this planet. Instead of facing the poverty and famine the North Korean people have to deal with, the government spends millions of dollars in improving their military and developing advanced weapons. This incident has encouraged Deputy Leader Warren to continue her candidacy for leadership of the Progressive Party, setting human rights as a moral compass for foreign policy a major priority of her agenda. In the next government, Mrs. Warren will make the violation of human rights a top issue the international community has to face with. North Korea has been a constant threat for global security for years. It is unacceptable that many governments, also the U.S. government, ignore the current state of affairs until the issue comes up in the media.

McMorris Rodgers Campaign Strategy:

Despite narrowly missing the second place in Iowa, the McMorris Rodgers campaign has nonetheless celebrated its result as a substantial success, particularly as the national lead remains more or less stable even in the face of heavy competition. Having set up offices on most of the February and early March states, the campaign believes the coming weeks will provide McMorris Rodgers with a large base of delegates capable of sustaining the campaign until the late stages of the primary process.

Looking at the coming days the campaign has set the stage for decent performances on the remaining February states, targeting New Hampshire through a town hall scheme along with two-times primary winner John McCain and taking advantage of Lindsey Graham's network to coordinate a bus tour to cover South Carolina, the last on seeing a particular focus on the coastline of the state. Currently close in the polls in both states, the campaign is counting to win at least one out of two to serve as a future springboard, coupled with a strong showing in Nevada.

Finally, preparations continue to go underway on the key "Super Tuesday" and March states by adding key endorsements like Marco Rubio and Lamar Alexander, who can provide extensive organizational and campaign support in the battlegrounds of Tennessee and Florida, and MP's like Mike Crapo, Lynn Westmoreland, Robert Hurt and Mark Amodei for states like Virginia or Georgia. This, combined with a continued approach to courting Rubio voters, donors and supporters and appealing to Kasich or Young supporters in localized states to support McMorris Rodgers as the best alternative to surpass the other.

Considering we have quite a few players who still need to post their schedules and I won't be able to get a start on Turn 5 until this evening anyway, I'll give everyone until 8:00 PM EST tonight to get everything turned in. Sorry DKrol Tongue

Was going to join in, but I see the round is getting ready to come to an end.  Will there be a second round? If so, I'd love to partake.  Smiley

The primaries have already begun, but you're welcome to join a campaign once the general election begins Grin

Grrrr, I quit! Tongue JK

McMorris Rodgers Ad N°1: Accomplishments

Running nationwide, focus on the large states like Florida, Texas, Michigan and Illinois.

Narrator: Cathy McMorris Rodgers knows the value of working hard and the importance of the American Dream. Having grown up on a farm and working her way to college and, eventually, Parliament, she has earned the trust of her constituents due to her ability to work with others, her committed conservative principles and her steady leadership.

(Footage and Pictures of Cathy McMorris Rodgers speaking and working on various issues in Parliament)

Narrator: Having worked on countless pieces of legislation, Cathy has authored bills such as the Hydropower Regulatory Efficiency Act, that reduces regulations to promote renewable energy without burdening the federal budget, and the National Pediatric Research Network Act, supporting research for pediatric rare diseases or conditions. If elected Leader of her party, and Prime Minister, she would be a leader that can get things done.

Cathy McMorris Rodgers MP: Hi, I'm Cathy McMorris Rodgers. I believe this election provides us with a chance to restore confidence and renew American values like opportunity, faith, responsibility, freedom and family. That is why I approve this message.

McMorris Rodgers Ad N°2: Caring for our Veterans

Running across the South, extensively in South Carolina and Texas.

Narrator: Now more than ever, it is important for the next Prime Minister to place due focus on issues affecting our veterans.

(Footage of Cathy McMorris Rodgers presenting the Faster Care for Veterans Act and talking to veterans)

Narrator: Cathy McMorris Rodgers has always been committed to the cause of our veterans, founding the Parliament Military Family Caucus in 2009 and introducing and cosponsoring the multi-partisan Faster Care for Veterans Act last month, a groundbreaking piece of legislation that would introduce a pilot program to improve their health care.

Cathy McMorris Rodgers MP: I'm Cathy McMorris Rodgers. As the wife of a dedicated career Navy man, I understand many of the issues affecting them and their families, and I see it as a duty to ensure those heroes as treated as they should given the ultimate sacrifices they make. And so I approve this message.

McMorris Rodgers Ad N°3: Leadership and Straight Talk

Running in New Hampshire.

John McCain MP: I have always been fond of New Hampshire, a state that fundamentally appreciates the value of straight talk. As the primary approaches, there is a candidate in the Conservative Leadership race that I want you to consider.

(Footage of Cathy McMorris Rodgers hosting town halls in New Hampshire and talking to voters. "Conversation with Cathy" banners on the background.)

John McCain MP: Cathy McMorris Rodgers has always been a fierce, efficient and committed fighter for the cause of Conservatism in Parliament, a candidate fully prepared to be Commander in Chief from day one and bring a fresh air into Government, a candidate that understands the importance of talking straight.

Cathy McMorris Rodgers MP: I'm Cathy McMorris Rodgers. Together we can change America for the better and restore its confidence. That's why I approve this ad.
