There is actually a decent amount of Haitians in Quebec. Quebec has a separate immigration policy from the rest of Canada, they choose to mostly admit people from the French speaking world.

Louisiana, I have to deal with rude French Canadians coming down as snowbirds every year and acting like they own the place.  I'm sure Quebec I a nice place but too many bad experiences

Florida has some very generous and easy to get travel/residency rules for Canadian snowbirds apparently. Basically as long as you stay less then half of a calendar year you are ok. This allows rude Canadian snowbirds to take the state over from October/November to April every year lol.

This also allow, us from Quebec, to be free from their presence during that time.

I'm leaning toward the place where the wind hurts my face and universal health care is a thing, although the home state of John Bel Edwards does have its pros (such as being able to vote for his re-elex in '19).
