I truly don't get why even Marco Rubio in 2nd place would be impressive.

If it were a close second, maybe. But 12 points behind Trump? Only a hack would find that impressive.

My god, someone on CNN actually used the phrase "Rubio's third place victories" unironically. How did the media come to believe that third place is the first winner?

Because they're so terrified of acknowledging the popularity of Trump and Cruz, and what it says about the nation, that they're incapable of facing reality.

So far, it looks like I got the order right in my prediction, but the percentages were off, especially for Rubio (underestimated) and Kasich (overestimated).

Radio's solid third place tonight is likely to knock out  both Bush and Kasich and I would expect Rubio to benefit most from that.

In other news, Nikki Haley just got embarrassed again. Along with Gowdy and Scott. And of course Lindsey. lol

Kasich isn't going anywhere. He didn't even try to compete in SC.

He really has such widespread appeal, its incredibly impressive.

Already far more voters in this primary than the NV caucus. I've heard on the net that the total number of voters may exceed 650,000. I know that SC is far more populous than NV, but dayum.

I do see a chance for Rubio to move ahead if Bush and Kasich drop out.

I don't know if Kasich is dropping out after this. I don't think he even tried in SC and I heard he's already in Massachusetts, Michigan and Virginia campaigning.

Why do they announce a winner with only 1% of the precincts in again?

Because that plus the exit polls makes it extremely improbable that anyone else got the most votes.

His Twitter keeps talking about Michigan, for what it's worth. He won't drop out just yet.

LOL at Kasich being ahead of Jeb, even if it's temporary. Jeb staked it all here, Kasich didn't even campaign in the state and wrote it off!

Tell me more media, about how Jeb and Hillary both imploded equally. Roll Eyes

Because that plus the exit polls makes it extremely improbable that anyone else got the most votes.

I read right before the November 2012 election that media outlets will call a race as soon as polls close if there is a 10% or greater gap between the candidates in the exit polls.

No idea how that applies to primaries.
