Why is the audience suddenly clapping after every response when they were completely silent for the first 45 minutes? Did they lift the gag order or something? Huh

The candidates were cautious with terrorism and foreign policy but they brought out the red meat now that they are talking about domestic issues.

O'Malley and Sanders totally right.
The economy does well when people can afford spend money. Consumption requires a disposable income.

This one upping eachother on minimum wage feels a lot like the GOPers one upping eachother on tax cut rates

In fact after the minimum wage increased by 87.5% in 1949, the next 12 months had a higher percentage increase in jobs than any 12 months since then.

$12 is still nearly double the $7 minimum we have now, and above Obama's $10 proposal.

Hillary clearly won the foreign policy section, but Bernie bested her on healthcare (also getting the only applause of the night with the Eisenhower joke.) O'Malley looked silly getting talked to like a toddler by the moderator then backing down.

I agree, Clinton did so well in the foreign policy section, I don't know if Sanders can recover this debate.
Dunno what debate you have been watching. From what I have seen is the Democrats all giving good answers and solid policy planks. Bernie and O'Malley have really shined so far. Hillary has been unimpressive.

Oh yeah? Well I support a $1,000/hour minimum wage. Take THAT!

But Hillary definitely lost that exchange on the optics. Helped by the timing of the commercial break.

Best to Worst Performance:

Clinton
Sanders
O'Malley

Hillary's "margin of victory" is getting narrower though.

The commercial break commentators are saying O'Malley is picking up some steam.

This moderator isn't even trying to hide his anti-Hillary bias.

"Why are you a Wall Street shill, Hillary?"
"Senator Sanders, what do you think about Hillary being a Wall Street shill?"
