Not in regards to the Nazi distorted version of the idea which added a vehement anti-Semitic streak to it but the initial geopolitical 'organic' conception of the state and its borders.....
Personally I find the comparison of the state and its borders to an organism to be quite interesting, if not slightly disturbing. I think it ignores the internal political dynamics of a state that may impede it from acting as a unified body akin to an organism (democracy stymies superficial unity)
Moreover, the use of geopolitics, especially in the German Geopolitik inherently creates tensions and divisions in states where there is no need for it. A more liberal understanding of the world system and the geographic orientation of states can lead to far more peaceful solutions even ignoring the Nazi implications that lebensraum became associated with. If you truly believe your state and borders are a reflection of national health on a Darwinian level, global tensions can never be subsided.
Horrible Idea.
