anyone who is absent for such long periods of time from the Atlas Forum should not hold such a crucial position as a moderator.

in the event you all agree that Gustaf should be replaced, whom do you want to replace him with? does anyone have any suggestions?

Personally, I support John Ford as moderator, but we really should put this to a public vote sometime.

I agree John would be good, we don't need a public vote, we just need to explain to Dave the suitation.

Why not have a public vote?  John will probably win it anyway, but given that who the moderator is is a big deal, I don't see why it wouldn't hurt.  Dave put up a public poll last time to see who was wanted as moderator in the other boards.

Gustaf has already said he's willing to work to get another moderator, so posts like "impeach Gustaf!" are sort of unnecessary, in my view. Smiley

I'd like to point out that I tried to push for the appointment of a new moderator a while back and nothing happened. Wink

I know I don't have enough time to be that good of a moderator and I'm willing to give up the position (though you could just have another one appointed, I think 2 or 3 might be good if the post reduction act is to be implemented).

Obviously Gustaf should not be removed but rather made to attend more often. Tongue

That sounds vaguely threatening... Wink I honestly don't think I'll have the time to attend as often as you deserve from me as moderator. I would be willing to stay on if someone else was picked too though.
