Harding's death left the taciturn Coolidge in the White House, who largely continued his predecessor's isolationist, pro-business policies. Challenging him are conservative Democrat John Davis, selected as a compromise candidate from a hopelessly deadlocked convention, and 1912 Republican nominee Robert LaFollette, who after losing the Presidency twelve years earlier apparently fails to see the irony of running a third-party Progressive campaign out of spite for the Republican nominee.

Voted Coolidge since he's sort of the best.
