I'm pretty supportive of Euthanasia rights but this looks like an unfun monstrosity. I'd rather get the electric chair or have my head cut off by an ax than ride this thing.

No, but the person giving you the hemlock might worry about you damaging their furniture.  Besides, if the structure fails, you'll only end up injured in the resulting crash rather than dead.
