Opinion of Inuyasha

[Bleach Blonde Bad Built Butch Bodies for Biden]

One of the very few animes I would watch back when I sort of liked anime.  I know there are a few anime fans around here, so I wanted to see what you guys thought.

As most of Rumiko Takahashi mangas/animes, it have its strengths and weaknesses.

The strengths are a strong cast, a different POV and that she's a great story teller. Her weaknesses are that she embrace status quo, her cast doesn't really develop. Inuyasha should have had below 10 volumes and 24 episode anime had been more than enough to tell the story.

Nostalgic, but bad. If it wasn't for the filler and constant repetition it would've been a decent show.

Loved it as a teenager. Though I genuinely wonder how much I'd appreciate it in my mid 20s. I hope so.

Even when I was a weab, I found it pretty awful. No character development whatsoever and every single episode was basically the same thing over and over again. Just a bunch of Inuyasha yelling 'Kagome' and Kagome yelling 'Inuyasha.' As far as early Adult Swim shows went, this one was definitely at the bottom. Full Metal Alchemist was a lot better, and when they were still airing FLCL and Neon Genesis Evangelion, those were obviously the best.
