"Fascism should more accurately be called corporatism, because it is the merger of corporations and the state." - Benito Mussolini

I'm no economic fascist.

You're against the free exchange of goods and services. That makes you an economic fascist.

too general of a definition. See the above quote.

The Federalists were actually pretty close to a fascist party, they implemented economic policies similar to the above description, were warmongerers, and passed the Alien and Sedition Acts. Good thing they died out.

Economic: 4
Social: -1

Fascisim does not include, or exclude, "warmongering."
Nor does passing the Alien and Sedition Acts imply fascism.
And I can't see how their economic principles are even remotely close to fascism.

Economic Left/Right: 0.38
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 0.36

My chart dot was right on the origin.

Mine is in my sig. I moderated slightly on the economic, but went a little left on the social. Still a populist leaning liberal.

Not yet; a libertarian would have a positive economic score.

I"m having a -2/-5 day, apparently.

Economic Left/Right: -1.88
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.97

I notice that my high/low score doesn't vary much from -5, no matter my mood or how my stocks are doing, or whatever.

But I notice that my left/right score bounces around quite a bit.  I've taken this test maybe 8 or 9 times and my economic score has been as low as -4 and as high as +3, roughly.

Guess I'm a Moody Centrist with a Slight Anarchist Accent.

I'm in fact more conservative economically. There is just so many misleading questions in the test.

Waterloo is a pretty cool place. I've only been there once though.

Yeah, I'm temporarily in Quebec. I can't wait to get back to "real" Canada Wink.

My avatar isn't blue for several reasons. I'm not a Republican being the most obvious. If I were to live in the U.S. I would probably just be an independent. I'm not affiliated with any of the parties here either( I was a member of the Progressive Conservatives before the merger).
