The candidates for Governor are Democrat John Kitzhaber and Republican Dennis Richardson. If the election was today, who would you vote for?

John Kitzhaber ................................................ 49%
Dennis Richardson.......................................... 36%
Undecided....................................................... 15%

Kitzhaber isn't really popular. But the OR republican party fails to align a good recruit.

And the GOP will swing and miss again in all OR statewide races. Talk about an empty cupboard.  My goodness.

If I'm not mistaken, the GOP hasn't won a single race statewide in OR (even down ballot) since Gordon Smith won re-election back in '02.  I'm probably wrong, but that's unreal.
