Why do liberals claim Nixon but not this guy? He's probably to the left of Obama.

No, that's not true.

FF, and one more time, it's super depressing that this forum thinks Ronald Reagan is worse than Herbert Hoover. Hoover and Carter were almost as similar to each other as LBJ and Nixon.

In Addition to Reagan, Carter is also a better president than James Monroe, Theodore Roosevelt, Andrew Jackson, (His approval rating is way too low), James K. Polk, and John F. Kennedy, all of which are better than Carter.
The fact that he committed genocide probably had something to do with that

I hope you realize there are actually some sane Republicans in America?

Sane Republicans think Bush Sr. was one of the 10 worst Presidents?

Yeah, I can see why you would think he was bad. But how was he a horrible President from a Republican perspective?

Massive HP.

Did you know it's an open secret that he was involved in the bay of pigs? Of course he'll maintain that he had no connections to the CIA's Operation Zapata as a future head of the CIA who was the President of a Gulf Oil company called Zapata. Uh huh.

Given that your post has been reported, do you have anything at all to back it up? I ask, because I don't know what the F you are talking about. Thanks.

There's ample evidence that he was involved in the assassination of JFK and the attempt on Reagan.

yes this is trolling but it wouldn't surprise me if bush i was involved in this stuff

Horrible President (though I won't say horrible person) for reasons already mentioned, not to mention his appointment of Clarence Thomas to the Supreme Court.

Pandering or not, his comment on atheists was probably the dumbest thing ever uttered by a President, in or out of office.

I was trying to look up on Google what you're talking about and found this.

http://www.positiveatheism.org/writ/ghwbush.htm

Specifically this:

If that's true, that's extremely dumb. But that was 27 years ago and lets just hope he doesn't think that now.

I've never really gotten the whole "Bush would later be DCI, so obviously he was involved in CIA things over ten years earlier!" schtick.
