Probably the worst democratic governor, he should switch party.

Please stop limiting your party divides to D and R.

Also, massive HP.

Snowstalker, Grumps, I'm sorry but I won't follow your advice. Why? Because "Independant" is just a word: it can be: Libertarian, true leftist, social liberal,... That's why I have just D and R. Maybe you're not a democrat, maybe you're not a republican, but I suppose there's a party you hate less!

A great governor. The only thing standing between Albany and the Republican army.

HP (D). I have a huge problem with the fact that he's very socially liberal, yet fiscally conservative. Not to mention he's responsible for why Republicans will hold the NY Senate. I really hope he gets a primary challenger this year.

And to add onto what windjammer is saying, this forum has plenty of third party members, but it makes it much easier to just have a two party system in the polls. Greens and Socialists can go with the Democrats on the polls while Libertarians and Constitution members can go with Republicans.

DINO. Can understand why oakvale likes him, but I'd probably end up voting Green or write-in Lil B if he ended up getting the nom.

Why should a "I/O" option not be included? You don't need an option for every party; other will suffice.

I'm pretty sure the GOP would welcome a staunch liberal in social affairs.

He's fiscally conservative, socially liberal, it's the definition of the rockefeller republicans from the Northeast, isn't it? Snowe, Collins and Chafee voted against the Partial Birth Ban, which was supported by a vast majority of Americans. And they had no problems to be "Republicans" at the same time.
So yeah, he should switch party Tongue.

They had no problems being Republicans because they always were Republicans.
