A generic union-busting Republican Governor, AKA Filth.

Well, he's a standard Republican who I disagree with on most things. But considering he would've easily been able to destroy the state and impose right wing social engineering like in WI/OH/FL/LA, etc. yet didn't, I'm going to say FF.

Union-hating scumbag. HP.

Lol liberal priorities: "He wants to smash unions and keep the working class in abject privation, but at least he doesn't want to require creationism in schools, so I'll have to vote FF"

It's pretty easy to hold Republicans to a low standard considering the state of their party right now. Obviously I'd never vote for him.

Why hold them to a standard at all? Republican politicians are, perhaps with a few exceptions for state-level legislators opposing so-called RTW laws and a few genuine civil libertarians opposed to Obama's expansion of the national security state, enemies of working people in this country.

FF because I think he means well, but I will not be voting for him in next November's elections, mainly because of his actions regarding the ACA. That, and the fact that he's a Republican, and I vowed never to vote Republican last October.

This and I'd have probably voted for him in 2010 if I lived in Tennessee.

Haslam is a thousand times much better than many of the other Southern Republican governors. That is really not saying much though.

I love how people are voting FF just because he's less flagrantly awful than most other Republicans.

Karl Dönitz was by far the best head of state of Nazi Germany. Would you vote FF on him?

Can we have one thread where someone is not compared to a Nazi?

Glad not everyone is a hack like that. Any Republican who believes the Earth is older than 6,000 years should be commended.

Doesn't Haslam also support gun control?  A Republican Governor of Tennessee who supports that (gun control) should certainly be commended.
