It's pretty easy to hold Republicans to a low standard considering the state of their party right now. Obviously I'd never vote for him.

It's pretty easy to hold Republicans to a low standard considering the state of their party right now. Obviously I'd never vote for him.

Why hold them to a standard at all? Republican politicians are, perhaps with a few exceptions for state-level legislators opposing so-called RTW laws and a few genuine civil libertarians opposed to Obama's expansion of the national security state, enemies of working people in this country.

FF because I think he means well, but I will not be voting for him in next November's elections, mainly because of his actions regarding the ACA. That, and the fact that he's a Republican, and I vowed never to vote Republican last October.

Doesn't Haslam also support gun control?  A Republican Governor of Tennessee who supports that (gun control) should certainly be commended.
