Horrible State. Chicago + Horrible Traffic + High Taxes + Boring Landscape. The politics doesn't fit me too well either.

Hmmmm... Can't stand Chicago politics, which strongly influences the rest of the state. Their Governor is one of my least favourite, if not my least favourite Governor. However, one of my all-time favourite TV shows (Married... with Children) was set there, and without Married... with Children, there's a good chance I would have given up TV for good.

Barely a FS, thanks to Married... with Children being set there.

Illinois is an horrible state, but Chicago is a freedom city and it makes up for the awfulness of the rest of the state.

Anyway, Freedom State.  It could use a few more hills and a higher speed limit on the Interstates, but other than that it seems to be a pretty great state.

Oh, and while I"m at it, did I mention the state's amazingly FF Liquor laws?
