Instructor, teacher, and professor are absolutely NOT interchangable titles.

And I believe Bushie is at a public, government-funded program,  so it's not just a diploma mill.  However he needs to make sure he masters CAD, since his diploma alone probably won't impress employers. Being legitimately good at CAD will.

That's what I'm aiming for is to be not just good, but exceptionally good at CADD.  I have slowed down a touch to make sure my drawings are as close to immaculate as possible.  The certificate will open the doors, but my portfolio will allow me to gain entry into said doors.  So, Grumps, yes I do believe this is legit and Harry not the nail on the head.  You said what I was trying to say, but couldn't find the words.

Wait when did Bushie live in Philly???

I remember Facebook friending some local campaign consultant a few years ago and saw Our Dear Friend was a mutual friend. I was confused, intrigued and horrified. Turns out they were in some camp out by Villanova. Anyway, there was a point in time when The Hungry One was deciding on where to permanently set up shop: either Oklahoma or Montgomery county, PA. Talk about different universes. Could you imagine if he had moved here for good?

I even thought about Harrisburg.

Naturally, I'd be there.

Funny enough, I'm meeting up with an old friend that knows Mr. Moderate and former Forum great HardRCafe.

I've got a little vacation coming up really soon!  I've got two weeks for Fall Break from October 14-25, so Mom, Dad, and me are going to Albuquerque, New Mexico Friday-Sunday, October 18-20 for a little weekend getaway.

Isn't it awkward for a 31 year old guy to go on vacation with his parents? Why not let the two of them go away together for a weekend? You can have the trailer all to yourself, and they can have some couple time.

Probably no classes between Thanksgiving and President's Day.  I mean, there are so many holidays in that interval that going to class in between the holidays would be pointless.

Probably no classes between Thanksgiving and President's Day.  I mean, there are so many holidays in that interval that going to class in between the holidays would be pointless.

School Starts (August 5)
1 day for Labor Day (September 2)
1 day for Fall Parent Teacher Conference (Sept 6) (High School Students only, but no classes for anybody)
2 weeks for Fall Break (October 14-25)
3 days for Thanksgiving (November 27-29)
2 1/2 weeks for Christmas (December 18-January 3)
1 day for MLK (January 20)
1 day for Spring Parent Teacher Conference (February 7)
2 weeks for Spring Break (March 10-21) (March 12-14 are snow make up days)
Last Day Officially (May 30), although my class will likely end late April/early May.

This is a continuous learning calendar, we start early August and end the end of May, but we have the same number of instructional days (180) as the rest of the districts in the state on the normal calendar.  Since we have the same number of instructional days but a longer calendar, we have to have a few more breaks.

IF I moved out there with them, they would live in Ogden, I would live in Salt Lake City or Sandy where I lived last winter.  I'm still planning on Kansas City wherever they move, although Utah is an option.

I think your parents should demand to be included in the parent teacher conference.  The high school students shouldn't get the advantage of having their parents get face time with the teacher that isn't available to your parents.

Why would they give up their Fridays voluntarily?

Anyway, we're home from obedience training for JJ.  She looks like she will be an easier dog to train than we give her credit for.  We went over potty training as well as the "watch" and "sit" commands.  Next week, we'll work on jumping.

I haven't been paying attention to this thread for a bit, but do remember something about Bushie going back to school, but can someone give me a cliff notes version why the f*** Bushie is going to school with high school kids?

Jeff Jr. after obedience training is over:

"She gazed up at the enormous body. Six weeks it had taken her to learn what kind of smile was hidden beneath the blonde moustache. O cruel, needless misunderstanding! O stubborn, self-willed exile from the loving breast! Two dog-food-scented tears trickled down the sides of her snout. But it was all right, everything was all right, the struggle was finished. She had won the victory over herself. She loved Bushie."
