Only in Italia - Serie C drama leads to unique abandoning of match: three substitutions at once in the opening minutes and players faking injuries - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WD7_PZlPn_g

UEFA and Italian police supposedly want Napoli-Arsenal played in another city as a punishment to Napoli fans (who were warned before the last CL match) and I guess for safety reasons. Grrr.

The San Siro has been chosen as the host site for the 2016 Champions League Final.

Tomorrow, Bayern will play @ Dortmund:

Napoli vs. Parma in fifteen minutes. Last time they met at the San Paolo, I was there. Ah, the memories...

Should be a decent win for us. I'll say 3-1 (like the time I was there).

...instead we're losing to Parma in the 85th minute. What a joke.

City putting on a real show against Spurs. Probably a turning point for both teams.

Eh, City always plays really well at home. The problem is their away performances are abysmal for some reason. This doesn't really change anything.

For the Spuds, it's obviously pretty humiliating.

Unquestionably the match of the day is Dortmund vs. Napoli but idiotic FS1 has to placate all of the American fans of Premier League teams so Basel-Chelsea will be shown. Thank God I work in an area with several Soccer bars nearby.

In league news, Roma had to settle for their third draw in a row. Still undefeated but Juventus now jumped to first. Napoli are six points from the top. Juve an Roma have yet to play each other.

The same crap here:

The Austrian PULS 4 channel is of course showing the Porto vs. Austria Vienna game and the Swiss SF2 channel is of course showing the Basel game live.

The German TV channels ARD and ZDF show nothing at all.

Only the pay-TV SKY shows both the Bayern vs. ZSKA Moscow and the Dortmund vs. Napoli game live ...

And I'd rather watch those than the former ... Tongue

It's been 15 years or so since ARD had any Champions League. (And until recently the same was true of ZDF.) It's also been the case for at least a decade or so that free-tv in Germany shows exactly one wednesday game and no tuesday games; Leverkusen vs ManU this week.

Looks like it'll all come down to the Napoli - Arsenal game in December.

But Napoli would have to win it pretty big.

Basel score against Chelsea!

Now we need Schalke to score against Steaua...

EDIT: Except that Schalke and Basel play each other once more of course, so little hope of a Chelsea elimination even in that case. Sad

Like Lewis said, we need an insane result or Dortmund somehow losing or drawing to pointless Marseille.

Napoli win by 3 or more goals, Dortmund win by any score, Arsenal come third. You know what you have to do. Grin
