Mitty, I refuse to get a handicap placard because I don't want to take spots away from those who are really physically handicapped.  I am not physically handicapped. I'm a little fat, but it doesn't hurt me to walk.

Tomorrow, I will be getting my exercise by taking the kids to the zoo for 3-4 hours.  The zoo is mostly walking, so I will be able to walk for an extended period.

I actually think he's trolling us about the dietician. That or he's just wasting her time. I'm going to bet he never saw one.

I actually did see one.  I've been following her advice somewhat, though admittedly not wholeheartedly.  I stayed under 2,000 calories yesterday, under 2,500 today.  I've had breakfast the past two days.  Granted, both meals were at 11:30 am, so they could be considered lunch, but they were breakfast food.  I need to get myself on the water.  That is my biggest downfall is not enough of that life sustaining beverage.  I've got many changes to make, so my dietitian and me are going to change one or two at a time.  I see her again on June 12 at 11:00.  I hope to have made enough changes to be near 265 lbs, which would be a loss of 10 lbs.  I've already lost 6, down from 275 to 269.  I hope to lose some in Africa with all the walking and lack of food.

Understatement, but the point remains the same.

I had bacon and eggs and toast (2 each).  At On the Border, I had a burrito with queso sauce.

What kind of a burrito. Their nutritional stuff is obscene. Tongue some approaching 100g of fat! Most with 4000+mg of sodium!

For the record it's possible to eat junk and still lose weight, I like to mention that I once lost 6 pounds during Dude Fest (yes I weighed myself before and after) on one of the worst diets imaginable, it was literally (and you know I only use the word in its intended usage) nothing but gas station junk food, fast food, pop and alcohol. Of course:

1-There's a difference between eating normal portions of crap food as I was doing (well except for the alcohol, consuming LOTS of that) and eating four sloppy joes in one sitting and
2-To accomplish this you must be physically active, as I very much was that weekend, and Bushie obviously isn't.

Worth noting that in no way is sustainable and that alcohol in excess completely dehydrates you. This is why the scale is only one data point. Bushie lost weight eating burritos and sloppy joes from one day to the next. Do you think he is closer or further away from a heart attack or a drop in body fat?

Well of course (and I was getting dehydrated even without the alcohol as the thing is in July aside from all the other factors, at some points I was so thirsty even without drinking any alcohol that day yet that I went to the venue's bathroom, ran the faucet, put my hand under it and would slurp the water out of my hand and then repeated it multiple times.) The main point though is that physical activity can cancel out bad eating. That is clearly not what Bushie is doing though.

Bushie needs to get a droid and start playing Ingress. I read about a woman who lost 50 pounds after she started playing it. It's basically a way to play a video game and go walking/exercise. This week based on the game's measurements I probably walked on average 5km a day just playing it alone (and that's with working 10 hour days.) Hell last night I walked all the way to the center of downtown Minneapolis and back just following portals. For someone who gets tired walking a quarter of a mile (that's about 400 meters), it'd at least be a good start.

I know.  As far as I can tell, I shouldn't have any big meals this weekend.  The worst would be grilled hamburgers.  Since Dad has to work all weekend, we're not really going to celebrate Memorial Day.

Not really man. You can get away with eating crap and having short term weight loss if you run a calorie deficit.  If Bushie was able to walk for a full hour he would still only burn something like 400-500 calories. Most people, especially overweight people, are not able to put in the activity required to cover for eating too much.  I weighed more than Bushie, far more actually but I was able to start with 2 hours+ of cardio from day 1 of my decision to sort sort myself out and still kept myself in 1800-2000 calories range.

To Lief, Bushie is  currently lazy, weak and undisciplined. He is still looking for easy answers and solutions rather than doing the hard work needed.

Are people regularly in the habit of forcibly jamming food into your mouth? This is all up to you. So stop trolling and again stop being such a puss.

...while praying that the Blessed Lord comes to destroy us all for our sins...

I have to say I have a deep sympathy for anyone who dreams impotently of the destruction of others.

Porn and Ameriplan are bare necessities?  Come on... quit your trolling.  It's perfectly realistic for him to not rip off his parents.

Those items are very small amounts of money and neither they nor his food and gasoline are significant contributors to the family's poverty.  That of course, is caused by their class position and resulting low income: i.e., it is not Bushies fault nor their own.

Small amounts of money add up over time.  My guess is that he's been taking many "small amounts" of money for most of his life.

You should start powerlifting, Bushie. That way it's not only satisfying to eat four sloppy joes for dinner, but beneficial.

I hate to do this, but... How much butter and jam on the toast? Did you add syrup or brown sugar to the oatmeal?

I can estimate the calories with that info.

Good job! I had 2 boiled eggs, 1 slice of whole wheat toast, and an apple sliced up with cinnamon. But very good. Smiley
