The Baltimore Ravens will win Super Bowl 47. They will win because they are by far the superior team. Their offense is better. Their defense is better. And their special teams unit is a lot better.

I think the Ravens will probably win but I don't think they're a better team than the 49ers in any phase of the game.

Ravens - 27
49ers - 21

Then again, if the history of Super Bowl losers is to be believed, next year you'll be lucky to finish ahead of Tmth.
Screw you!!!

20-10 Baltimore winning

I hate the Ratbirds, but I don't want another team with 6 Super Bowl rings.

So. If I want to beat you (and I really, really do) I have to pick against my home team?

So be it. On the bright side the game is now win-win for me. Either my team wins the Super Bowl. Or I win this 5 month long competition.

San Francisco 27
Baltimore 24
Ya know, I've been thinking and as much as I don't want the 49ers to get their 6th ring, I think I hate Ray Lewis more and really REALLY don't wan't to see the media suck the murderer off anymore than they already are.  It's disgusting.

So I wan't to change my pick, but before I do, I wanted to make sure it was cool with you (and Bushie) first.

Yes, you have until 6:15 pm ET on 2/3/2013 to change your picks.

Baltimore's special teams are better. Explain how their offense and defense are better.

Baltimore's special teams are better. Explain how their offense and defense are better.

The Ravens held Paton Manning to 3 TD's in 80 minutes of football. The 49ers gave up 17 points to Matt Ryan in the blink of an eye.

The Ravens held Tom Brady scoreless in the 2nd of of the AFC Championship.

Flaco has thrown 0 Int's in the playoffs.

Well...yeah. Green Bay wasn't all that good the season they won. But when the playoffs started they were great.

If the implication is that Baltimore has also been great, then you have to count a double-overtime three-point win as great, which means that the 49ers have certainly also been great in the playoffs. The fact is that every team is hot entering the Super Bowl; no team will ever enter the Super Bowl having lost three of their last four games. That's why you have to look at the actual numbers.

While I'm not predicting it, it would be so appropriate if this was the first one to go into overtime.

There have been plenty of Super Bowls with more evenly matched teams.

My pre-game prediction was 28 for Baltimore, 20 for San Fran. I still came closest out of all my friends.

That went from horrible (power outage included) to one of the most exciting. It's ironic that I expected to care the least about this game but got really into it. A shame the Niners came up short but still a good game and I'm happy for a few individual Ravens.

Thanks Phil. I'm sure nobody in the United States of America shares this opinion at all.

Great game - considering the craziness if Jim Harbaugh, it's only fitting that the game ends in a controversial play that screws the 49ers over and unleashes him.

The radio program I was just listening to made fun of the power outage...and didn't bother to even mention the result. lol
