I'm trying to gauge any possible support I might have if I made a run for higher office.

Please only participate in this survey if you are a registered voter in the Mideast Region.

Poll will run for 3 days and has been checked for all spelling mistakes!

Seeing as I'm the guy that aims for useless positions like "Lieutenant Governor", I'd have to pref myself for that.

Ben, myself, and you would certainly have consideration for the Lt. Governor spot, depending on whether it is done in tickets or separate. Either way, you'd be considered. Wink

I don't know; I probably wouldn't vote for you, but I wouldn't mind if you were elected to higher office.

Ben and Tmth in the first two match-ups, the third vote depends on the other candidate.

My two cents: If I were you, I would either focus on the Assembly or the Senate (the regional or an at-large seat) in the short term. Indeed, two things have to be said about the office of Lt. Governor and Governor: Firstly, it's still very much up in the air whether there will be a Lt. Governor's office (such an amendment requires the support of two-thirds of the voting population). Secondly, not even the Dalai Lama could win an election against Tmth in the Mideast.

I agree, but I would tentatively predict it will pass that threshold narrowly at this point. Our region is very active, and the new Lieutenant Governor amendment makes the position more powerful than the one which was defeated over the summer.

Secondly, not even the Dalai Lama could win an election against Tmth in the Mideast.

This is sig-worthy.

Operation Coal Mine could change that.

I think you should run for one of the offices, Gass, even though Tmth has done a good job as Governor and will likely be reelected.
