What does Bush bring to the table that Romney didn't?

Electability. He doesn't have nearly the same aura of "out of touch billionaire patrician" that Romney did. Notwithstanding "Jeb's"--that is "John Bush's"--being born to one of the most influential and connected New England old wealth families.

That's weird, because just two weeks ago, he said that he won't decide until early next year, which itself was a change from his previous statement that he'd choose this year:

Which contrasts with what he'd been saying up until relatively recently.  He'd previously said that he'd decide by the end of this year.

WaPo on the "credentials caucus", courting and hiring policy experts. So far Rubio's farthest along on policy and kitchen cabinet.

Should be noted that the people who they specifically say are getting briefings from experts on national issues are Cruz, Rubio, Christie, Walker, Ryan, Jindal, and Perry.  For those in Congress, this doesn't *necessarily* indicate presidential ambitions.  But Christie, Perry, and Walker are getting briefings on foreign policy, which only makes sense for governors if you're planning on running for federal office.

A reminder of how much early primary state travel we're already getting:

http://www.pbs.org/newshour/updates/2016-contenders-hit-road/

Huckabee in Iowa on Tuesday, Ryan there on Friday, then Huckabee, Ryan, and Paul in NH on Saturday.

Martin O'Malley says he will sign a bill decriminalizing small amounts of marijuana, which according to the National Journal, is good for his potential presidential run.

Yep, twice.  One trip on Saturday, and another later this month.  Also sounds like he's leaning towards running as a Democrat:

Rubio says Bush running for president wouldn't deter him from running as well:

Santorum will make a three day trip to South Carolina next week.  Cruz will stop by the state as well, but just for one day:
