So, I just made my Walmart run.  A week later than I had planned, but I had to go tonight as we've got literally 4 chances of snow in the next 8 days.

Hey Roker.  Go out and get some exercise.

If you think this is bad, check out his facebook feed. It goes a little something like this:

"Thirty minutes ago we had two snowflakes on the ground, now we have an easy three!"

There definitely should still be a Bushie movie some day, but we haven't yet reached the thrilling ending of this story yet.

That screenplay I wanted to write would've ended before the Dell job, and completely ignore the Kenya and moving to Utah arcs. That's kind of where it jumped the shark and just became the writers reusing plotlines. Granted it's still amusing to see Bushie get caught in his lies or ignoring obvious advice he needs to follow, that never gets old. I just hope the writers come up with an original curveball of some type.

I miss Bushie's love life.

Well, he left work after three hours today because his stomach was bothering him. So that's another day basically lost.

Thankfully, Jamespol is coming to take me to breakfast at Denny's so I'm not bored out of my mindfor5 hours.  He'll bring me back by 3:30.

So you really are a black?

I hope you're looking for a new job. Six hours worth of work on a check is pathetic.

Alright, Jeff, I'll bet you $20 that you don't have this job by July 1st.

July 1st? If he's still there on Feb. 1st, I'll be surprised.

Finally, a decent plot twist from the writers of this season.

Kinda funny how Bushie seemed amused and excited by the fact that he may have committed incest. I guess that sort of thing is not a big deal in Oklahoma though.

Really wish the whole incest thing didn't die out so quickly, this temperature conversation is boring as hell.

I bet there's a very high correlation between the number of salad bars at regular restaurants (i.e. those that don't focus solely on salads) per capita and the percentage voting Republican. Salad bars in restaurants is a very red state phenomenon.

Is Michigan considered a red state?

Only if you go by Leip's colors.

Gramps and BRTD, when in that post did I say I would miss because of weather?  I can't find it.  But, as always, you twist my words around.  What I did say is I would attempt to go to work, but would be a nervous wreck all the way there.  That is NOT the same thing as missing work.  The only reason I am off today is because of the call volume.

What do you mean by "all the way there"? It's 1.25 miles.

I just turned that other position down.  I want to give Xerox a chance to turn around and start giving 40 hours.

Umm, wtf?

If Bushie does move to NYC, this may require a pretty major Atlas meet-up.

Things may seem as if they're gloomy over here, but I have a lot of confidence right now.  It was not a shock today to hear that my job was going to get cut.  What was the shocker is that they are not going to start cutting until March 1.  That settled my heart back down.  This isn't my first rodeo.  I have been down this road too many times before and I'm becoming an old pro at it.  I'm excited going forward into Tuesday and beyond.  I honestly believe it won't be long before I have a job to replace the one I have now.  I'm confident I won't really even lose any money.  In fact, this may turn out to be beneficial for me as I stand a much better chance of pulling 40 hour weeks.  I'll be alright.  If I do have to move back to Oklahoma, I'm going to hold my head up and do it with class.  There are worse states I could move to.

You're becoming an old pro at what? Getting fired? That's not really a good thing. Your resume must look like a f[Ink]ing nightmare at this point.

Also, I'm not sure that there are worse states that you could move to. Oklahoma is pretty awful.

By the way, what was the first job that you looked into today? Why was it an automatic non-starter in your view?

I'm still at work, about to get off in 30 minutes.  Things are still very fluid and have a tendency to change.  They're still planning on beginning the layoffs on March 1, but the news today is that there is debate as to where the draw the line on cuts.  Right now, as of yesterday, my class which came in November 6 is on the line and they don't know if the cuts will reach my class or stop with the class that came in December 3.  Right now, nobody knows if my class will be cut or not.  We're pretty sure the September 24 class (the class preceding mine) is safe.  We're also pretty sure the December 3 (the class succeeding mine) is in jeopardy.  What happens, though, with my class, is the big question mark in the room.  I'm going to act as if my class will be cut, because I don't want to get to March 1 and become a free agent with nothing to fall back on.  On the other hand, I don't want to start over unnecessarily.  I'm already well established at Xerox and was on track to become permanent anytime between February and May where I might get a raise.  The calls the past two days indicate the pace is starting to pick up.  We're still slow, but the open slots for VTO are not as numerous.  Most days there have been 7-8 slots open for VTO.  Yesterday, there was no VTO.  Today, there were only 4 slots for VTO and nothing forced.  Things seem to be picking up which makes me think the March 1 cuts may be canceled altogether, because the last thing the company wants to do is cut half the staff on March 1 and then find themselves in a pickle and missing SLA and have to turn right around and hire more staff before April 1.  That's one reason why my class may or may not be safe.  They may not make that decision for a while until they can forecast March, April, and May traffic.  So, I'll talk to my parents, but there is a possibility I may be staying at Xerox long past March 1.  If I can, that would be the most ideal scenario.  I was going to go seek out another sales opportunity this afternoon, but I may go on home instead.

Giving up on the job hunt already? Yeah, this is going to end well...

We need to really strike at the root of this "porn addiction" thing? How often do you watch it, Bushie?

Unfortunately, I was not able to go grocery shopping today as I am dealing with criminal activity that occurred at my house in Oklahoma today.
What happened? Huh

Air Conditioner Unit got stolen.  It was chained down, the gate was locked and all precautions were taken that we could.  When my parents came to the house they found the gate intact with lock still locked, the chain-link fence still solid, the house still in good shape, so the thieves must have jumped over the fence cleanly and had to have helped, because that was a heavy unit and to clear the fence and the gate without damaging either.  We're working to file a police report and I have to call the officer tomorrow morning to give my consent to file the police report since I am the homeowner.

Well, at least they were considerate thieves.
