Lief must be in heaven! This Arsenal match is incredible especially with Walcott's third goal.

Almost an eighth! Would have been a hat trick for Giroud as a substitute in the final ten minutes.

What a great match! All our forward/midfielder players put in good performances, and hopefully this convinces Theo to re-sign now. I feel really bad for Newcastle though, they've scored six goals against United and now us in four days and have no points to show for it.

Glory Glory to the hibees... Smiley

afleitch, patrick, SOS, you're boys took one hell of a beating*

* well 1-0 with our backs against the wall most of the time, but when you're not the old firm in Scottish football, you take what you get.

Now to lose to Dundee, Ross County and Hearts...

My boys? I must have misrepresented myself somewhere; Nott'm Forest tied, Tottenham won, and AS Roma didn't play.

The bhoys are merely resting up; bigger fish to fry or calamari if you will Wink  Unfortunately I have not been able to see many League games lately but by all accounts it looks like they are playing uninspired domestically.   Congrats on the win all the same.

And we all know that Serie A returns next weekend with Roma visiting Napoli. Smiley

Ah, right, Celtic. My bad, bore. Yeah I only support them in European competition; I'm sorry to say that I can't really bring myself to care about SPL.

Luckily, Totti is an equal opportunity legend: he's as happy to deliver a brace in Udine as he is Napoli, and everywhere in between. Wink

Yeah, I think its widely accepted that without Rangers on their backs and with them doing so well in europe, Celtic aren't really trying in the league. Not that it will matter, as you'll win it easily anyway, but with less points than last season (you can only reach your tally for last season if you win every game but one and have a draw- and you've still got two more hibs games Wink ). Relegation is already decided as well, because Dundee are rank, so the real battle is for second and the cups, which are wide open.

I'm counting you as a Celtic fan anyway, because a two person list isn't very fun Wink

My boy Giuseppe Rossi is returning to Serie A. Napoli flirted with taking him for years but he's going to Fiorentina. Total coincidence that I'm wearing purple today. Tongue  I'm just thankful he didn't go to Juve or Inter.

Hasn't he not played in like a year and a half now? Pretty big gamble for Fiorentina.

Sad

His 2012 was plagued by injury. He'll be back by March. My bias aside, yeah, it's probably a gamble but it could really pay off. The kid is great.

I'm before Lief starts crying about Arsenal's joke FA Cup showing today.

What a day in Serie A! The Thieves go up 1-0 early after converting a penalty. The Samp player that conceded the penalty was sent up minutes later. In the second half, while playing down a man and away, Samp nets two! Up 2-1 with twenty minutes to go. Pescara has taken a shock lead in Florence which is sort of sad since Rossi is there watching his new side today. It helps Napoli though. Smiley And last, but certainly not least, Inter was thrashed this morning!

All of this is build up to what ought to be an amazing Napoli-Roma afternoon match!

Nah, it was pretty much just a classic Arsenal showing. Play like sh[inks] for the first half, finally play with some urgency and take the lead, then immediately start playing like headless chickens and let in an easy goal. Plus Swansea is a pretty good team (they held United to a 1-1 draw just a few weeks ago) so it's not that embarrassing. Hopefully we win the replay.

Cavani is now the new top goal scorer in Serie A this season! Up 2-0! Where's Speedy? Wink

I will despise City for the rest of my life if they steal Cavani from us.
