But you choose to live in Texas. That is like saying that if you are a member of the Commnuist Party, but were born into a Republican family, that you are not a Communist.

Actually my father is a football coach and his job brought him here so once again you make little sense frog

you're insane !!! naturally he support gun-control...
Gun-control as far as the U.S. is concerned, not France. To my knowledge he hasn't gotten any laws passed against guns.
That is because there is already a lot of gun control in France.  If he tried to dismantle those laws you can make a claim he is against gun control, but his government actually considered tightening the laws even more following the attempt on his life.

Clearly, all of these together indicates he is NOT a conservative.

There are no rednecks in Texas? That's not true, George Bush is from there.

And I would like to ask you again to stop refering to the French as frogs. I don't like racism.

Actually, George W. Bush is from Connecticut, not Texas.  He also went to Yale and Harvard, liberal bastions of education.

Bush is from Connecticut? That blows your "yankees are from Connecticut, not rednecks" argument out of the water.

We are not a pure race, but neither are blacks. Our mixture of ethnicities is unique to our nation.

Obviously Chirac is a conservative.  Americans just get confused because we only have the two right-wing parties here.

Sorry about the anti-French behaviour here, Julien and Math.  Rest assured it isn't how all Americans feel.

Lets get back on topic.  Julien, if you consider Chirac a conservative, how about highlighting actions he has taken that we can deem conservative?

He has cut taxes and slimmed down the government. Isn't that typically the territory of conservatives? Plus he ordered those nuclear tests in Polynesia that you claim is something conservatives do.

Are you a monarchist? Do you not support the American Revolution?

So you are saying my racial background is "pure crap"? That sounds pretty racist to me.

American Conservatives hate Chirac because he is a patriot.

Likewise, French patriots would hate another countries patriots vice-versa.

Its almost common sense as why would Frace want to help to "clean up Bush's mess"?
