Romney: Stay same. Didn't really hear much out of him. Nothing new, at least.

Santorum: Down. His opinion on gay marriage and foreign policy are disgusting.

Gingrich: Up. Hard for me to say up, because I didn't like his idea of a loyalty test for American Muslims. But on matters of the economy, he appeared very intelligent and articulate, and I liked that a lot.

Bachmann: Up. I really think she did a good job in this debate. She seemed like she had a lot of integrity and she was very charismatic.

Pawlenty: Down. This was an absolute disaster for him. He just seemed very feeble and weak.

Huntsman: Down. Mostly, the questions he was asked (relating to his policies and beliefs) made him seem worse.

Paul: Stay same. He was just saying the same stuff he usually says, which I love, but I can't say it improved my already high opinion of him.

Cain: Sort of like with Romney, I didn't really hear much out of him.

Romney-Up a little; he gave several smart responses to economic questions and really looked like the adult in the room. I also noted he gave the strongest opposition to gay marriage.
Santorum-Up; he gave what seemed like reasonable answers to me for the most part, though he still looks more like me running for president than I'd like.
Gingrich-Mega Down; he gave a few decent answers about running Congress and the debt ceiling but his suggestion to repeal Sarbanes-Oxley tells me he has absolutely no idea how corporations are run.
Bachmann-Mega Down; she seemed as repulsive to me as ever and I refuse to accept her idea that we should intentionally default. I also despise the fact that she is fine with individual states allowing gay marriage but not fine with individual states creating their own healthcare system. It strikes me as congnitive dissonance.
Pawlenty-Up; I like how he took on Bachmann, but he still looks like an empty suit.
Hunstman-Same; I was impressed by his views on immigration and the debt ceiling, but rather unimpressed by pretty much everything else.
Paul-Same; not much to say, if I don't understand Ron Paul's views by now, I never will.
Cain-Up; he is the only other candidate beside Romney who seems to understand how companies work. I applaud his goal of bringing back the dividend. He still is a bit too new to politics to actually become president but I'd like him as a VP.

Romney: Up.  Showed more poise than I remembered, didn't get dirty.
Bachmann: Down.  Speaks well, but looked like an amateur, too many soundbites and not responsive.
Pawlenty: Up.  Fought well from a position of weakness.
Cain: Neutral.  Had some good one-liners but is clearly out of his league.
Gingrich: Up.  Showed his political savvy and confidence.  Or just doesn't give a sh** anymore.
Santorum: Neutral.  Showed fire but can't come to grips with how extreme his SoCon views are these days.
Paul: Up.  He's still the quirky grandpa but he's honing his message a bit.
Huntsman: Neutral.  Necessary establishing appearance, but could have done more to defend his positions (rather than just saying he stands by his record).

Romney: Same. The boring "safe" candidate.

Santorum: Same old right-winger.

Gingrich: Same, lived up to the "Grinch" moniker

Bachmann: Down. I knew she was far-right, but hearing her speak made me realize just how dumb she really is.

Pawlenty: Down. He seemed petty and just plain unimpressive.

Huntsman: Down. He seems like a generic right-winger with 1 or 2 not totally insane views, hardly the moderate hero some make him out to be. He's also boring.

Paul: Same. Decent foreign policy, poor domestic policy.

Cain: Down. He seems very dumb and uneducated on the issues.
