Yes, but I noticed people only voted for 2 people... you know, conservatives like you voted to eliminate Zapatero, and leftists voted to eliminate Francisco Alvarez Cascos. We eliminated both of them.
Then, in the next round, the same story. Solbes vs. Rato. Anybody voted for another politician. So I thought it would happen again in the next rounds (a fight between two politicians), and I changed the voting system to a more complicated one where you have to split your vote between more than 1 politician (or give 8 points to only 1, but that hasn't happened yet).

So, this round, we'll eliminate 2 politicians Wink

That was on ideological lines, but that's not always the case, far from it (even Hans, our favourite hack Grin, has voted for Solbes over Rato).
In fact, with only one vote, there is a risk of polarization.
And well, I've picked Zapatero because it was time (Wink), not because of the rules. I've said I wanted to oust Zapatero before, but self-censorship and anticipation of a huge defeat prevented me Wink.

Anyway, I asked because I was hesitating on my "keep" votes, but I guess it's fine like this, I don't really want to protect Rato.

Gutierrez Mellado was a conservative politician, but I won't vote to eliminate him because of this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnIcQKf557Y

when Antonio Tejero made his Coup d'état to the Congress of Deputies, almost every congresperson bent down, but Gutierrez Mellado tried to stop Tejero (that's useless, Tejero had a rifle, but it was a sign of loyalty to the democracy). And Carrillo didn't bend down, either. Tejero even said the first person who would be killed would be Carrillo.
