Clearly -with the sole exception of the Democratic ticket- we don't know who the nominees are going to be a year-and-a-half before the elections next year, but at this point in time how do you think you would vote?

Democratic, maybe Green if Obama pisses me off enough. Connecticut won't be competitive anyway.

Well, I suppose the CP could nominate Tancredo or Keyes and/or a better third party could show up. But it seems pretty obvious it's going to be Obama vs. some rich loser vs WAR vs everyone else.

I voted Republican. My backup is the Constitution Party, or a good Independent or other third partier.

I voted CP. As much as I would like Paul to get the Republican nomination, I'm aware the odds are against him.

Unless Romney is on the ticket, I'll vote Republican, so option 2.

Moore would be acceptable too.

Republican if they have a decent candidate. Libertarian otherwise. Democrat if the Republican nominee is Romney, Palin, or Giuliani.

I think I would reluctantly vote for Romney in a general election.  Certainly not in the primaries.  :*(

I try to make a point of never voting for the winner. I'll probably vote 3rd party, if New York is close, it's obviously over any way.

But if I were in a swing state, I would vote for Obama.

It's probably worth my vote to pick a 3rd party candidate anyway.  Not likely that any of these Republicans even came close in New York.  Might as well cast my vote for 3rd party to represent my belief that independents should be competitive against the two party system.

Too many intangibles. If the GOP nominates Bachmann, Palin, or a handful of others, it's Obama.

Republican, unless they do something really stupid like nominating a Teabag joke.
