bm, just try it...be warned though, the bacon aint just on top, rather it was all through mine, with a bunch on the bottom after you've already run out of icecream...it was pretty disgusting

Actually, this reminds me a bit of Hamcake (patent pending). There was a party, some ham, and a cake. A buddy and I simultaneously ate our last bites of white cake and frosting with a small slice of (deli style) ham on it. Our eyes widened as we both experienced a surprisingly delightful mix of sweet and salty flavors and found the result.....good? Really? But it was.

We keep talking about making an actual full Hamcake (patent pending) one of these days. And just watch doubters, when it becomes the newest taste sensation of America and our fortunes are made. I'll undoubtedly market it with Bacon Sundaes.
