I can't speak for him, but I believe that tmth is a Mormon, and so is Governor Romney.  I know if I were a Mormon (which I'm not), I would probably support Romney.  Which, if that's the reason, it's very understandable to support someone who is closest to your ideology and beliefs.  While Mitch Daniels is in the same state, Mitt Romney seems to fit him better.  Of course, take everything I just said in this paragraph and throw it out the window, because personally, Mike Huckabee or Newt Gingrich is closest to my ideology and beliefs, yet I support President Obama.  I also supported John Kerry over President Bush in 2004, even though the former president was closer to my ideology and belief structure.

Tmth, I hope I didn't step on your toes here, but I was just thinking out loud, here.  Sorry, if I overstepped my bounds. Smiley

I know him via social networking and I don't believe he's a Mormon.

I could have sworn I heard him say it once on here.  I could be mistaken, though.

I don't plan on voting in another election until I possess the financial incentive to vote GOP

Of the Republican field, I would probably support Mike Huckabee, although I doubt he's going to run.

Right now either Gingrich or Huckabee.

If Huckabee doesn't run, I would probably have to pull for Gingrich to get the nomination.

Would totally support

Dr. Ron  Paul
Herman Cain

If Mitt is GOP nominee
Wayne Allen Root

Depending on Third Party
Sarah Palin

Would support provided they have a Tea Party Running Mate and some policy changes
Mitchell Elias Daniels
Mike Huckabee
Tim Pawlenty
Rick Santorum

If he adopts a more social conservative stance
Donald Trump

Will not support
Mitt Romney

Honestly, none of the Republican candidates are vote-worthy.

But I despise Obama, so.....Mitt

UPDATED:

Of announced candidates: Buddy Roemer
Of unannounced candidates: Mitch Daniels or Donald Trump

Trump, of recent, has really reeled me in. So, if Roemer crashes and burns and Daniels goes with Barbour, than Trump will be my candidate.

Romney, but Trump is a possibility too. Besides the two of them, I don't see any one else. The field is even slimmer than it was in 1996.
