I love how a lot of conservatives are endorsing him yet he's probably the most liberal republican.
He's pro-choice, pro-gay marriage, and pro- marijuana legalization.

Why are there no RINO calls against him?

He is very pro-free market. He is a libertarian-Republican, not a liberal republican. big difference.

Look at how liberal the district is he is running in.

Where did Dennis say he is "pro-choice"? He has said he is against Roe V. Wade.

And other two are hardly liberal positions considering liberal Democrats have implemented neither gay marriage nor marijuana legalization while in power.

I think the surprise will be how extensive the Republican gains are.  I think there's been a real shift toward the Republicans this week and it shows in the Senate polling.  Democrat incumbants are stuck at 46-47 while some competative races seems to be opening up.  Paul, Angle, and Kirk have to one extent or another opened leads.

I don't follow the House races to make any predictions there, but on the Senate side I think the races won't be as close as predicted.  I think both Murray and Boxer go down.  I'm also close to saying Tancredo will win.  Not sure how I feel about that though.  It's just a big Republican year.

He's only "liberal" in the classical liberal/libertarian sense.

I have one: Cutler in Maine. When you have a surge like that going so rapidly, anything's possible.

Maybe it's just dreaming, since that would make my night. Tongue

A pro-lifer winning statewide in California would disturb me.

Only a true liberal would hate the thought of a Senator that supports protection of the unborn.

That is truly sad.

Only a true liberal progressive would hate the thought of a Senator that supports protection of the unborn prohibiting women from making their own medical decisions ending the mass murder of the unborn.

That is truly sad.

There is something liberal/progressive about extending rights to prenatal life. However this must be balanced by rights to women to control their own bodies and reproduction, which is also liberal/progressive. A true liberal/progressive, IMO, feels genuinely conflicted about this issue and is motivated by a desire to balance these two competing priorities. Whereas a true conservative knows that a person is created the moment the zygote penetrates the egg, and anything else is mass murder.

Some changes: Labrador wins ID-1, Lentz holds PA-7, and Costa loses CA-20.

I crossed Edwards off my upset list.

Why do you think Labrador will win now?

Wisconsin's voters have their hearts grow 3 sizes in one day and reelect Feingold.

Or, more likely, Manchin loses West Virginia.

I don't think Labrador will win, I think it is a possible upset that no one will see coming. The reasoning behind it is that Labrador actually has ads up on the air now, the NRCC dropped a small cash load and so did the TPE. The teabaggers are pretty motivated and I have no idea what is happening around Boise. All I know is that Minnick should win north Idaho quite solidly.

I'm still predicting a 2-4 point Minnick victory btw. However, this is a race no one has been talking about when they should be.

I'm going to say Nye narrowly wins reelection against Rigell, with Golden getting above 7%.

I'm not aware that either of the major party candidates (for governor or senate) is pro-life.

Does anyone think that Linda McMahon could pull off an upset? Polls have been moving towards her in the past few days, and she claims her internals show a dead heat.
