1967 is out

Round 10 begins. You have 3 votes, that you can split (or not to split) as you want.

June 1946 is out

Round 11 begins. For this round, an immunity vote will also be held. You have 10 votes, that you can cast either "positively", to keep, or "negatively", to eliminate (for negative as well as positive votes, you can split them as you wish). The election with the lowest difference will be eliminated and the election with the highest difference will be immune for rounds 12, 13, 14 and 15.

I hope immunity isn't too long: 3 rounds ?

4. You will be able to vote 1997 out on round 12.

Antonio, "we have a problem here":
you can't vote to keep 1997 whereas it is still immune.

Well, the vote to keep for me was more of a vote to make it remain immune. The rules of this round are a bit ambiguous, but my goal wasn't to protect 1997 from being ousted. Anyways, I see now where the problem is : since 1997 can't receive negative votes, it is favored for immunity. That's something I didn't realize when imagining the round's rules... Well, that's a problem indeed.

Let's say that : you can give negtive or positive votes to 1997, but in the case when it will receive the lowest difference, the election just behind would be eliminated instead. Since there has been this ambiguity, I'm giving you one day (or more) to modify your vote if you wish so.

Either your vote is useless as it is immune and can't be ousted.
Or you are giving 1997 positive votes for the future and that's not normal (except if, in case of a tie, you don't count those votes).

Immunity (which I used again in Ancient France's Provinces but won't use again) is giving a double advantage when we break ties with previous votes, as an immunized name can't receive negative votes.

Anyway, I don't change my vote, as I think it should be up to you to change your vote Wink.

So just because I invented a stupid rule I shouldn't be able to vote for the election I want to immunize ? Sad

Do you want me to modify the rules and re-organize the round ? BTW, some suggestion for an alternative rule would be nice. Tongue

Oh no, let's move on.
There would be a problem only if there is a tie between 1997 and another election in future rounds.
You'll see then what to do (a play-off or something else).
Voters are pretty "busy" with all the new survivors... I don't feel a strong demand to re-run the round Wink.

Thank you. Sincerely, I too want to move on in order to start my next survivor. Wink

Anyways, I won't use this rule anymore. I will keep my promise and let the 24 hours expire if someone wants to change his vote. But unless some upset, here's how things stand.

8 for 1997 => immune
6 for 1978
2 for 1986
2 for 1962
-1 for 1956
-2 for 1945
-5 for 1951
-6 for 1988 => eliminated

1997 will be oustable on round 16, and it's extremely unlikely that there will be a tie in the last two rounds. If it were to occur however, I promise to oust 1997 regardless of other criteria.

Also notice that if I wished I could have changed the outcome of the elimination too : giving 3 points to eliminate 1951 and the rest for 1997's immunity, I could have saved 1988. Tongue

1988 is out

And 1997 is immune again. At least there will be one left-wing victory in the top 3... Wink

Round 12 begins. You have 6 votes, to split 3-2-1.
