Thanks for getting to work on this, BK. 

I don't see a need for regional chairs.  With the additional offices Badger has proposed, I think that is enough party officers.  In regions where we are skimpy (the Southeast), there is little to do.  I suggest striking 1E.

FWIW, I agree with Fritz. We're small enough an organization that national offices suffice, and regional offices at this point have very little to do (or so says the Mideast Regional Chair). Like Fritz, I won't shed tears if we keep them either.

BTW, I have to mention that according to the wiki I'm still JCP Chairman of Northeast despite I left the region sincefour months. I don't know if you have any replacement.

I'm sorry I've been such an awful vice chair.. but Bgwah seems to pick up all the slack.. so vice chairman is really a pretty cushy position... all the benefits of such a title while all the complaints and bitching go directly to Bgwah. 

So now that I actually remembered that I was vice chair I kinda feel like a horse's ass for not really doing... well... anything.  But I will gladly (with a little pang of regret) relinquish the position to somebody better qualified in the next round of voting.

Just to clarify, since the question of getting rid of regional chairmen was brought up, the question is whether or not to abolish the regional chairmen. So an aye vote would be to get rid of them, and a nay vote to keep them.

Do you mean, when will we vote on it? Presumably after we finish our bylaws and establish the rules for it. Everybody kind of prematurely started declaring for party offices out of the blue, but it's cool.
